Referral Service is Available
The Sign Language Interpreter Referral Service is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Referral Service is closed on the following state holidays:
- New Year's Day - January 1st
- Martin Luther King, JR Day - Third Monday in January
- President's Day - Third Monday in February
- Arbor Day - Last Friday in April
- Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
- Independence Day - July 4th
- Labor Day - First Monday in September
- Columbus Day - Second Monday in October
- Veteran's Day - November 11th
- Thanksgiving Day - Fourth Thursday in November
- Day after Thanksgiving - Friday following Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day - December 25th
Information Needed When Calling the Sign
Language Interpreter Referral Service
The following information is needed when calling the Sign Language Interpreter Referral Service:
- Date and time of the assignment
- Type of the assignment
- Location/duration of the assignment
- Number of deaf/hard of hearing clients
- Contact person's name and phone number
- Preferred Interpreter/Client preference
- Interpreters already contacted if any
