Roles:
Advises and establishes public information activities and/or establishes committees for studying
particular issues that impact the deaf or hard of hearing community.
Writes, designs, edits and compiles information.
Presents, designs and/or schedules presentations or training activities for the community, interested citizen groups and public officials.
Elicit feedback on the agency’s mission and program to stimulate statewide support, participation and action from the community groups and public entities.
Advises agency management and staff on public relations and discusses potential and actual reaction to the impact of agency information and suggests approaches for disseminating/promoting information.
Reviews legislation, rules, and policy and program statements to determine the impact on the agency.
