Description of the Assistive Devices Loan Program
Nebraska Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NCDHH) offers an Assistive Devices Loan Program to individuals who live in Nebraska. NCDHH works in cooperation with the Frank H. Woods Telephone Pioneer Association and the Heartland Chapter of the Telephone Pioneers of America to offer citizens of Nebraska this service.

- Amplified Phones – loaned for a two-month period
- Pocketalker (Assistive Listening Device) - loaned for a two-month period
- Television Decoders – loaned for a one-year period
- TTY – loaned for a one-year period

Business/Organization Loans
NCDHH gives business/organization’s in Nebraska the opportunity
to borrow a TTY for a one-year period. This opportunity gives the
business/organization time to determine their needs. TTY’s
loaned through the business/organization program are purchased by
and remain the property of NCDHH during the loan period of one-year.
Requests for the business/organization loan need to be made in writing
to the Executive Director
of the Commission.
